Light Winds

With our friend Rob in town from NYC, we decided to head out in almost non-existant winds. We took a slow sail to the Slanted Door for Old Fashions convincing Monica to ditch work and enjoy a nice sunset motor back to Alameda.

Night Sailing

Sailing during the day is well and good, but there is something about night sailing that heightens the experience for me. Its more visceral, even without the aid of a fresh batch of blackberry moonshine, which we had a healthy stock of on board during this particular night. Thanks Andrea.

An afternoon with Marcella

Our friend Marcella approached us awhile back with an express interest to learn about all things nautical. So, it was only a matter of time before we took her out on the goat for an afternoon sail. The breeze was light that day, and after a brief introduction with our sturdy little vessel, we set her loose at the helm. She steered the Seagoat well and true as we found our anchorage at the ramp for some stiff drinks and food.
